The Data De-Identification Service on IBM Cloud enables developers and engineers to de-identify data using a user-friendly interface. Users can define rules, environments and clusters used to support the data de-identification process. Once the configuration is saved, it can then be exported and deployed to customer production environments.
The design uses components, styles and colors from IBM's Carbon Design System to maintain brand integrity and recognition.

Problem
Application developers need a user interface to de-identify data used in healthcare applications. The developers can assign rules, setup environments and manage jobs to de-identify any number of data instances. These configurations can then be exported and applied to new data as needed.

Available actions are displayed once one or more items are selected in the table. These actions can be applied to a single row or multiple rows as selected.

Complex masking rules can be defined and previewed in this interface. Documentation links are provided if the user needs more explanation.
